French League Results: PSG Win Even Without Messi and Neymar

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), which was not reinforced by Lionel Messi and Neymar, won 4-2 over Strasbourg in the French League continued match at the Parc des Princes, Sunday (15/8) early morning WIB.

PSG started this match convincingly. Les Parisiens immediately stepped on the gas in the match which was also a moment for Messi's introduction with several other players such as Sergio Ramos ahead of the match.

PSG only needed three minutes to open the scoring over Strasbourg. Mauricio Pochettino's side opened the scoring 1-0 through Mauro Icardi's measured header using Abdou Diallo's cross.

PSG who appeared dominant then could increase the score to 2-0 in the 25th minute. Kylian Mbappe's hard kick which changed direction after hitting the Strasbourg defender nestled into the wrong position of Matz Sels' goal.

PSG getting the upper hand two minutes later. This time it was Julian Draxler's turn who found the net with Strasbourg through a flick into an empty net and made the fans rejoice because they were able to take a quick 3-0 lead in just 27 minutes.

The 3-0 score lasted until the first half was over. However, the situation changed in the second half as Strasbourg were able to provide resistance in the second half.

Experienced striker Kevin Gameiro reduced Strasbourg's deficit to 1-3 in the 53rd minute. Eleven minutes later, Strasbourg managed to score their second goal through Ludovic Ajorque.

Ajorque's goal was created using a measured cross, Dimitri Lienard. When it took one more goal to equalize, Strasbourg instead had to play with 10 men after Alexander Djiku received a second yellow card in the 81st minute.

This condition can be used by PSG. Five minutes after that, the hosts again moved the position to 4-2 after substitute Pablo Sarabia found the net for Strasbourg which lasted until the game was over.
